The following ingredients are needed for the dish:
- 310 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 14 g fresh organic yeast
- 1 msp. turmeric
- 135 ml warm milk
- 40 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract or paste
- 66 g soft butter
- 25 g ground oat flakes
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
1.wood: Put the spelt flour in a bowl and make a hollow
2. wood: add the crumbled yeast
3rd fire: 1 msp. turmeric
4th soil: mix milk & sugar and pour into the bowl
5. soil: add 1 ½ eggs, vanilla extract and softened butter
6. metal: oat flakes
7. water: plus salt and knead everything into a smooth dough
Shape the dough into a ball and leave to rise in a bowl in a warm place for approx. 60-90 mins. until the dough has doubled in size.
Remove the yeast dough from the bowl, knead on a floured work surface and divide into 4 balls. Place the yeast dough balls in the greased tin (20 x 11 cm), cover and leave to rise again for 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top and bottom heat (fan oven 160 degrees).
Whisk ½ egg with a little milk and brush onto the dough. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 30 mins. until golden brown (don't forget to test with a skewer).
